Overview
We can offer advice regarding the best options for you on how to pay for your care.
We can provide advice and information on the following:
- Self-funded care options – you pay privately for services.
- Direct Payments – this is the budget allocated to you from the local authority following an assessment of need through your local authority social care team; you can opt to take a DP so you can decide who, when, and how you want the service.
- Individual Service Funds (ISFs) – an ISF sits somewhere between a managed service contracted by your local authority social care team, and a direct payment. You get the flexibility of DP without the responsibility of managing a budget. We manage that on your behalf.
- Funded care through the Local Authority and Clinical Commissioning Groups.
We can also offer assistance through Carers’ Resource, to help you find out which benefits and allowances you may be entitled to. Please click here to find out more: Carers’ Resource
